"Lest We Forget" and 80 Years of Freedom, An Event of Reflection and Gratitude
80 Years ago, after 5 years of suffering under the horrors of World War 2, the entire Netherlands got liberated from the enemy. It took incredibly brave and humble lives to get to that point of freedom.
Commemoration that we will never forget the acts of bravery and the selflessness of the men and women who risked their lives to save our ancestors, is what the 80-Years-Of-Liberation-project group has been focusing on for over a year, to create a meaningful Tribute photo and outdoor exhibition to raise the awareness that Freedom doesn't come naturally.
To encapsulate the solemn and important nature of this Tribute program, which focuses on remembering and honouring the Liberation of the Netherlands, The 80 Years of Freedom Committee invites all of Holland House Canada members and their friends to this free event:
When: Wednesday 14 May, 2025
Where: Small Arms building on 1352 Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga, Ontario
Time: between 10AM and 8PM. The program starts at 6.30PM.
