I have designed the Executive Compensation vs. Firm Performance experiment to test this. A study using real-world data, with two distinct team structures: Team A (Tool Dynamic) consists of human professionals interacting with an AI strictly as a transactional, data-processing tool. Team B (Colleague Dynamic) is a blended team where the AI is communicated with and treated as a fully equal team member. By tasking both teams with analyzing whether executive compensation structures effectively drive desired firm performance, this research isolates how human behavioral prompts alter AI output. The goal is to provide empirical, board-level data on how HR departments should integrate AI to maximize strategic depth, accuracy, and business value.
