Holland House Canada - Code of Conduct 

1. Introduction: This Code of Conduct outlines the standards and expectations for all members of Holland House Canada. By becoming a member, individuals and organizations agree to uphold these principles in all their interactions and business dealings.

2. Professionalism: Members shall conduct themselves with the highest standards of professional integrity, honesty, and ethical behavior.

3. Respect: Members shall treat all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic, with respect and dignity.

4. Compliance with Laws: Members shall comply with all local, provincial, and federal laws and regulations relevant to their business operations.

5. Fair Business Practices: Members shall engage in fair business practices, including honest advertising, transparent pricing, and honoring contractual obligations.

6. Confidentiality: Members shall respect the confidentiality of information shared within the chamber and shall not disclose it without proper authorization.

7. Conflict of Interest: Members shall avoid situations where their personal or financial interests may conflict with their responsibilities as members of the chamber. Any potential conflicts should be disclosed and managed appropriately.

8. Collaboration: Members are encouraged to collaborate and share knowledge for the betterment of the chamber and the wider business community.

9. Contribution: Members are encouraged to actively participate in chamber events, initiatives, and committees to contribute to the chamber's growth and success.

10. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute between members, they are encouraged to seek amicable resolution through dialogue. If necessary, the chamber may provide mediation services.

11. Reporting Violations: Members are encouraged to report any violations of this Code of Conduct to the chamber's leadership. All reports will be treated with confidentiality and investigated promptly.

12. Consequences for Violations: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the chamber.

13. Amendments: This Code of Conduct may be amended from time to time by the Board of Directors, with input from members.


Holland House Canada - Photography and Videography Disclaimer

Holland House Canada (HHC) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any HHC event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. HHC may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by HHC including but not limited to: social media, website, newsletters, brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, etc.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending a HHC event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the event organiser by sending an email to admin@hollandhouse.ca writing of his/her intentions and include a photograph. HHC will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.

By participating in a HHC event or by failing to notify HHC, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by HHC, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify HHC from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

Any person or organisation not affiliated with HHC may not use, copy, alter or modify HHC photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorised designee from HHC.
