New Year, New Faces in your team

During our AGM in December we welcomed 2 new board members! 

Clayton Vergeer and Arne de Kruijff both have strong ties with the Netherlands and both gentlemen have the best intentions for their time within our team, serving the Dutch (professional) community in Canada.

Message from Arne de Kruijff

"I'm happy to join the Holland House board! My name is Arne and I’m fresh ‘off the boat’ as of February 2025, and loving my time in Canada –specifically Toronto. Having worked in the public sector in The Netherlands, I now work at Verita Global, a class action firm.  More importantly, I have been given the opportunity to contribute to 80 Years of Freedom, commemorating the Canadian liberators during World War II, and inspiring a younger generation in the present.  I look forward to contributing with the same enthusiasm to Holland House and to meeting you all soon. For now, Happy New Year and wishing you all the best for 2026!"

"I'm incredibly excited to be part of the Holland House Canada team! I was born here in Canada to entrepreneurial parents looking to build a life for themselves here. For the majority of my career I've worked with the Dutch government here in Canada to assist Canadian companies to expand their operations to the Netherlands! I feel perfectly placed here at HHC to make an impact on communities both here in Canada and in the Netherlands."

We would like to thank Karin Jansen and Matthijs Kooijman for their invaluable contribution in the last years as directors for Holland House Canada! 

 Matthijs will remain an advisor and liaison for businesses in The Netherlands.

A special thanks to Caspar van Keulen who has served for at least 5 years in the Board of CNBPA / Holland House Canada, also taking on the duties as Secretary and being a vibrant member of our European Chamber meetups!
